It is elongated because it is obtained from the longitudinal part of the pig's back. The name derives from the Mustelidae family of carnivorous mammals, Mustelini (Mustela), which are animals with a slender, elongated body.
Mainly used in appetizers, it is particularly appreciated by those who love the leanest cuts of Sardinian cured meats due to its almost total absence of fat.

Questo è l'ennesimo acquisto (anche sè dopo tanto tempo) che faccio da questo sito, attratto come sempre dal prezzo e qualità dei prodotti in vendita ed in particolar modo per la cordialità dei gestori che come sempre sono stati precisi e veloci nella spedizione anche se stavolta non per loro colpa il tutto mi è arrivato con quattro giorni di ritardo dal giorno programmato per la consegna.
