Il Juniper, common name of Juniperus Comunis is an ancient and wild plant that grows spontaneously in the hills and mountains of the Mediterranean.

Its fruits, small round and dark berries that contain one or two seeds rich in essence with a characteristic scent, ripen in September and can be picked by shaking the branches of the tree.

With the distillate of Ginepro, alcohol and sugar, a sweet liqueur with a characteristic taste and aroma is obtained.

    San Martino S.r.l.

The San Martino company was founded in 1987 in Quartucciu, in the Campidano area of Cagliari, from the passion for homemade liqueurs of Maria Antonietta, Alessandro and their children Gabriele and Simone. It presents itself on the market with a wide range of liqueurs of excellent quality and authenticity, respecting nature and the ancient artisanal recipes of the Sardinian tradition. It produces Limoncello with natural Sardinian lemons selected and peeled by hand, but the main production is dedicated to Myrtle Liqueur, the king of Sardinian liqueurs, worked exclusively with fresh and wild myrtle fruits, the so-called myrtle berries, harvested handmade by expert collectors in our mountains. With the green, fresh and wild myrtle leaves it produces the White Myrtle Liqueur. Maria Antonietta Piu and Alessandro Cirillo have been able to intertwine passion and rhythms of the earth with the right spirit and refined taste, offering themselves to consumers with traditional bottles and with a line of particularly refined bottles, finely painted by hand, indicated above all as refined gift ideas and souvenirs of Sardinia, winning admirers in many corners of the world. In 2003, San Martino made a big leap in quality: after almost 20 years of demanding work, passion and professional seriousness, on November 29th it built and inaugurated a prestigious factory in the industrial area of Selargius, also in the Campidano area of Cagliari , with a particular structure that recalls the old factories and distilleries of the early 1900s. The pleasant architectural structure, with attention to the smallest details inside, is suitable for guided visits for both tourists and school groups, aimed at learning about the various stages of production and tasting the products. This artisan company on a human scale, healthy and transparent, restores the image of Sardinia that it produces and projects itself into the world. You will find our liqueurs in wine shops and restaurants throughout Sardinia, on the peninsula and also abroad.
