Gare de Roubaix is a top-fermented amber craft beer that finds its origins in the Belgian bieres de garde, agricultural-inspired beers typical of the brewing tradition of north-eastern France. It is a beer that has its strength in its body, round and full, given to it by the pale and amber malts used to produce it. The use of noble German hops gives it an elegant bitterness that acts as an ideal counterpoint to the malty taste. At the table it goes very well with meat-based preparations and with mature and blue cheeses. Its name, in addition to recalling with a play on words and pronunciation the reference style, wants to highlight the eclecticism of this beer, whose ingredients come from the main European brewing nations finding a metaphor in a train station, as well as outlining its drinking style: calm and slow, like waiting for the next journey.
