Gueffus Lunghi or also called Gueffus all'antica.

Unlike the classic round Gueffus, these are glazed.

What are Gueffus:

I  gueffus, are gods scented sweets based on almonds, frosted on the surface and fluffy inside, typical of the island's gastronomic tradition.

These delicacies are wrapped in colored paper like candy.

Initially, they were prepared at home to celebrate important occasions such as the birth of a child, the announcement of an engagement or a wedding.

These delicious sweet pralines are ideal to taste together with a glass of sparkling white wine sweet at the end of the meal or as greedy snack mid-afternoon.

Ingredients for 25 Gueffus

  • 300 g di almonds peeled
  • 200 g di sugar plus that to decorate
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 lemon grated peel
  • 40 ml di liqueur
