Sardinian Pecorino " Montanaro " is a fresh sheep's milk cheese, made exclusively with local milk. This pecorino is known for its rich flavor, capturing the essence of sheep's milk from flocks grazing in the mountainous regions of Sulcis. It's ideal as an appetizer or for roasting, especially when wrapped in lean pancetta and sautéed for a few minutes.
Each caciotta weighs approximately 500/600 grams , with a white, soft, compact texture, as genuine as Sardinia.
