Abbamele , also known as "abbattu" or honey sapa, is a traditional Sardinian product. It has been used since ancient times to prepare delicious traditional desserts and is now also used to garnish and enhance the flavor of ice cream.

Excellent and suitable to accompany fresh and semi-mature cheeses.

Unfindable outside Sardinia

It is obtained by cooking honeycomb containing honey and pollen for a long time, with the addition of orange or lemon peel. The flavor evokes spicy aromas with hints of roasting and caramel. A tart note harmonizes well with the sweet base. It has a long, pleasantly bitter aftertaste. In addition to honey, it contains pollen, residues of royal jelly, propolis, and even some virgin beeswax.

INGREDIENTS: Honey decoction, natural flavors.

PRODUCER: Anedda Agricultural Beekeeping Company (Villaputzu - Sardinia)

    Buonissima!

Comprata tempo fa per fare dei dolci sardi che si chiamano "pabassinas" ho preso l'abitudine di metterne 1 cucchiaino anche quando faccio il pane con l'uva passa...

    Troppo buona!
