Sardinian Sulla Honey
From the pristine hills of Sardinia comes the Sardinian Honey of Sulla, a local excellence with a delicate and floral taste.
Produced in the spring months, this clear, crystalline honey is collected from the flowers of Sulla (Hedysarum coronarium), a spontaneous plant typical of the Mediterranean, particularly widespread in the hilly, clayey terrain of Sardinia.
Taste: delicate, slightly vegetal with a balanced sweetness
Color: very light, almost ivory when crystallized.
Aroma: light, with herbaceous and floral notes.
Crystallization: natural and rather rapid, with a fine and creamy consistency.
Sulla Honey is perfect for those looking for a light and versatile honey.
Excellent to enjoy by the spoonful, to sweeten herbal teas, accompany fresh cheeses or embellish desserts and yogurt.
It is also appreciated for its purifying and toning properties.
Artisanally produced by Sardinian beekeepers, this honey is an authentic concentration of nature and tradition.
