Myrtus communis is an evergreen shrub that grows wild in the Mediterranean scrub. Its fresh, wild, fleshy fruits, called "berries," are hand-picked by expert pickers and brought to the laboratory. After an appropriate infusion in alcohol, they are used to produce the famous Sardinian Myrtle Liqueur, with its unique and unmistakable aroma and flavor, particularly austere and profound.
Today, the original San Martino Sardinian Myrtle Liqueur is conquering the top spots dedicated to Italian excellence.

Sardinian Myrtle Red San Martino
San Martino was founded in 1987 as a factory producing artisanal liqueurs and immediately stood out for its quality and authenticity, entering the market with its first liqueurs such as Mirto rosso, Mirto bianco, Limoncello, Filu'e Ferru.
Thanks to the enthusiasm of Maria Antonietta and Alessandro, owners and managers of the company, and their sons Gabriele and Simone, who have been able to intertwine culture, love and art, San Martino has become an important production reality, conquering both the island market, mainly with a tourist vocation, with various lines of traditional and finely hand-painted bottles, and the peninsula market and abroad.
In 2003, the charm of the territory and its privileged nature were enclosed in the new production plant, which faithfully recalls the architecture of the factories of the early 1900s, becoming a point of reference, not only for production, but also as a meeting point for educational and cultural activities. The structure, in its heart, moves cutting-edge systems, maintaining the same traditional production methodology:
Tradition , Passion , Quality
These values have allowed us to expand and give greater impetus to production with new products and their UNI EN ISO 22005:2008 certification. The company with an artisanal vocation and an innovative spirit gives the image of " Sardinia that produces and projects itself into the world " to conquer the main European and international markets.
