Red Tuna Belly from Carloforte, 160g
BLUEFIN TUNA: In the first ten days of February, the school leaves the northern seas and enters the Mediterranean waters through the Strait of Gibraltar in early spring. Reproduction occurs here, aided by water temperatures ranging between 16 and 19°C. Fishing takes place in late spring, around May, a time when the tuna have not yet begun their reproduction phase and their flesh is rich in fat and highly nutritional. For our canned food lines, we purchase and process only tuna caught in May using sustainable methods (hook and line).

Ventresca
It is obtained from the lower part, it is the noblest part and richest in omega 3. It constitutes 10% of the tuna and contains a quantity of fat equal to 26.2 g per 100 g of product.

Mai mangiato un tonno così buono, è anche vero che la ventresca è la parte migliore. In ogni caso era morbido e saporito, davvero ottimo.
